A utility to check Windows errors and status from the command line.

ErrorLookup Utility is a free tool designed especially for system administrators and related professionals, which allows you to check the contents and meaning of the error messages and status codes of Windows from the command line.

With a very simple syntax (you only need to write, from the command line, "ErrorLookup" followed by the code for the check you want to make), ErrorLookup recognizes more than 8,000 Win32 error codes and HRESULTs and NTSTATUS codes and those based on the specifications [MS-ERREF]. This ErrorLookup utility lets you use both numeric codes and also doing searches through a text string from which ErrorLookup searches its database for any errors, code or description that matches.
